Storms have always been a sort of paradox to me. From far away they are often beautiful, presenting a wide spectrum of beautiful colors cast on billowing clouds, while at the same time unleashing complete destruction and horror to whatever finds itself underneath. It’s this contrast – complete calm and beauty mixed with the most destructive forces on earth that keeps drawing me back time and time again.

I’m Eric Anderson, a photographer based out of Omaha, Nebraska. During the spring and summer months, you can find me chasing severe storms all throughout tornado alley, from Texas into Canada, and from Colorado to Illinois. Have storms, will travel.
